On behalf of the pupils, staff and governors of Myrddin Community Primary School, may I extend you a warm welcome to our website, where we begin to share information about our school and community.
Myrddin Community Primary School continues to be a central part of Carmarthen town since it opened in 1960 and developed further through the opening of our specialist unit from 1975.
Our curriculum is enriched by regular visits to our locality and we are dedicated to ensuring every child starts and continues their individual journey of discovery and learning, through a range of experiences in and outside the classroom. We are lucky to have large open spaces for outdoor learning whilst we enjoy the views of Carmarthen town and the lower Towy Valley.
In order to learn, we know this starts with feeling safe, secure and happy, therefore by providing an inclusive, nurturing and stimulating environment, we create a school where children can discover their aspirations and reach their goals.
