Here are some ways that you can help:
READING – the key to everything in school is the ability to read and to foster a lifelong love of it. Please read to, with and also make listening to your child read an enjoyable time and as often as you can. Reading books will be given out daily and need to be returned the following day. However please share all ways to read such as leaflets and magazine and log into our Giglets where there is a wide range of books to read and listen to.
PE KIT – PE kit can be worn to school instead of uniform, on your child’s PE day. PE day is Wednesday.
FRUIT – being a ‘Healthy School’ we promote eating fruit as a playtime snack. Fruit can be brought in from home.
JEWELLERY – may we remind parents / carers that for safety reasons, jewellery must not be worn to school.
UNIFORM – we enjoy a sense of belonging by wearing our school uniform every day. Please label all items.
ATTENDANCE – excellent attendance of 95%+ is essential for progress. Please give your child the best chance of making progress by being on time every day.
COMMUNICATION – classroom staff use ClassDojo to keep parents / carers up to date with class news.
