Our Vision:
“Community – Together we are stronger.”
Our mission at Myrddin Community Primary School is to be a successful inclusive child-centred school at the heart of our community. We aim to be a learning organisation where parents, governors, staff and the local community work actively together with our pupils, to ensure they receive a rich, inspiring and engaging education. We will enable every child to develop healthy relationships and to be physically, creatively, technologically, emotionally and academically fit for life.
Our vision at Myrddin Community Primary School is to nurture our pupils to become:
Happy – We want to develop a friendly atmosphere that allows all in our school to thrive. Success is achieved through lively, enquiring children that recognise and celebrate, their own and others’ achievements.
Valued – We will recognise our children’s unique talents. We will develop their understanding of the need to treat others how they would wish to be treated, by supporting them to recognise that everyone is different but equal. We value all children’s contributions in all aspects of school life; for them to become healthy and confident individuals.
Caring – We want to develop and nurture healthy, ethically informed individuals through our values. This enables our children to develop empathy for all in our community, across Wales and the wider World.
We want our school to become a place where children feel safe and secure, to enable them to be confident and to encourage them to take risks in their learning, in an environment that foster resilient, creative, and enterprising children.
